Kitesurfing in Cartagena

Learn to fly over the Caribbean with IKO-certified instructors. All equipment included. Zero experience needed.

How a Kite Lesson Works

Every lesson follows the progressive methodology certified by the IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization). Never touched a kite before? No problem. Our system is designed to get you flying safely and having fun.

01

Safety Briefing

We assess conditions, explain spot rules, communication signals, and proper use of safety gear. We never skip this step. Your safety comes first.

02

Know Your Gear

You'll learn to set up and pack down the kite, identify lines, connect the bar, and use the safety system (quick release). Hands on the gear from minute one.

03

Land Training

Launching, landing, wind window control, turns, and power strokes. This is where you build the foundation. Most of your first day is on the beach.

04

Body Drag in the Water

With the kite in the air, you enter the water and practice body dragging: being pulled by the kite without a board. You'll learn to navigate upwind and recover your board.

05

Water Start

The epic moment: feet on the board and the kite lifts you out of the water. The first few meters are pure adrenaline. Most students nail this by session three or four.

06

First Rides

You ride with increasing control, hold your course, and learn to change direction. Once you master this, you're an independent kitesurfer.
